Are there times when you want to take your child to the doctor, but struggle to find a time that fits your schedule? Maybe you鈥檙e nervous about being near other sick people at the doctor鈥檚 office, so you鈥檝e put off a visit for a non-urgent medical issue.

If you鈥檙e looking for help with a minor health issue, telehealth may be the answer.

星空传媒 (PCHP) offers telehealth services at no cost for all STAR and CHIP members age 0-21. This includes easy and convenient access to pediatricians through a partnership with telehealth provider KidzDocNow.

What is KidzDocNow, and when should I use it?

KidzDocNow is a platform that allows you to talk with a doctor on video from the comfort of home, using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Doctors are available 7am 鈥� 11pm, 7 days a week.

Some of the issues you can bring up during a visit include:

Upset stomach and other digestive issues
Cold and flu symptoms
Prescription refills
Questions about nutrition and exercise
Questions about newborn health or breastfeeding
Mental health concerns
